Michael Jordan’s influence is very much a powerful force to be reckoned with, same goes for his shoes. The Jordan 1 in black/red is such an iconic sneaker that it’s re-retroed “Banned” edition has caused riots among sneakerheads in the US. Released only in outlet stores across America, people camped out for this release. Maybe it’s just the fanaticism among Jordan-heads or its just that the Air Jordan 1 is such a must-have shoe that everyone scrambled to have a pair. Hype or not, the history behind this shoe is reason enough to cop. Beautiful shoe don’t you think?
