Tora Y Moi
Toro Y Moi is the brainchild of Chazwick Bundick, the dude is half Filipino and half African-American and is a fixture in the chillwave movement for quite awhile. His monicre, “Toro Y Moi,” can be roughly translated to “Bull and Me.” He was a part of a recognized indie rock act, The Heist and the Accomplice which he formed with the aid of three friends from school. Not only does he have a pulse for music, he also graduated from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor’s degree in graphic design.
A Carpark Records artist, he has released his first full-length album “Causers of This” in January 2010 . His follow-up, Underneath the Pine, was released early this year.
